Cost Engineer

As a member of the Cost Department, the Cost Engineer will provide support to the financial management of active/inactive projects, as well as producing financial reports to senior management on a monthly basis. The Cost Engineer will be an integral part of the project team and work closely with Project Executives and Project Teams to set up and manage monthly updates of all project budgets and costs. The Cost Engineer will also work with the Cost Manager to institute, assemble, and manage proposal and project start up functions including project general conditions, general requirements, and CMA digest review.

Scheduler

Properly sequence detailed activities and creatively re-sequence a schedule when conflicts arise. The successful candidate shall possess full working knowledge of construction scheduling from pre-development through construction closeout. The Scheduler will work in close cooperation with SVP, Project Executives, and Project Teams in order to develop, maintain, and update project schedules, but shall develop and uphold uniform and consistent scheduling tactics across all UAG projects. The Scheduler shall be actively involved in identifying, addressing, and mitigating schedule delays and risks. The Schedule will also provide all required delay analysis to facilitate UAG change order negotiations, as well as project and subcontractor closeout. The Scheduler shall be an integral part of UAG project performance and success.

Purchasing Agent

The Purchasing Agent will work with, and coordinate with multiple projects, project teams, and office employees and be responsible for day-to-day project level purchasing activities. The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for leading project bid procedures and managing project teams to facilitate the effectiveness of purchasing strategies. The Purchasing Agent will work as an integral part of the overall Purchasing Team. The Purchasing Team is responsible for all aspects of a project purchasing phase and oversite of contract management from award to closeout, including risk management, and will also assist the preconstruction and project team during estimating and GMP periods. The Purchasing Team coordinates closely with the Operations, Preconstruction, and Executive Teams as well as Clients and Subcontractors and is expected to effectively communicate at all times.

Risk Engineer

The Risk Engineer will work with, and coordinate with multiple projects, project teams, and office employees and be responsible for the implementation of corporate-level risk management practices. The Risk Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Subcontractor Prequalification profiles via TradeTapp, lead the application of subcontract underwriting, issue Subcontractor contract insurance requirements, and review Subcontractor insurance certificates and policies for compliance with subcontract agreements. In this role, the Risk Engineer will work as an integral part of the Purchasing Team to manage corporate risk management strategies and coordinate daily with Projects Teams to track Subcontractor insurance policies and performance. The Risk Engineer will be the primary point of contact for all Subcontractor insurance related activities, including communicating with UAG’s insurance broker for all projects. Working closely with the Purchasing Manager, the Risk Engineer will establish various risk management policies and procedures and coordinate these policies and procedures closely with the Operations, Preconstruction, and Executive Teams as well as Clients and Subcontractors and is expected to effectively communicate at all times.

NYC DOB Licensed Site Safety Manager

The Site Safety Manager is a position that reports to the Safety Manager and works closely with the Project Team. The Site Safety Manager will work closely with UAG operations team ensuring regulatory safety compliance and loss control related subjects including but not limited to; safety, health, environmental, fire protection / prevention. Observes and enforces compliance to NYC DOB, NFPA, OSHA, NEC, DOT, FDNY, and insurance related matters for UAG.

Senior Estimator

We are currently seeking a Senior Estimator with strong skills in providing and/or coordinating estimating services on multiple projects in varying market sectors and contract types. Our Estimator shall have a strong understanding of construction costs as they relate to all building systems, and should be able to handle multiple tasks for an estimate or bid. They should also have a good understanding of how to compile an estimate and cover all construction aspects appropriately, and, critically, have a very strong customer service focus (both internally and externally based).

Senior Project Superintendent

Leader for all field operations on a project. Expected to direct, supervise, coordinate and manage the work and productivity of the subcontractors and labor to assure that the contractual requirements of the project are met with respect to safety, schedule, quality control and cost control. Direct report to the Project Executive.

Project Manager

Lead responsibility and accountability to the firm and client to ensure the overall administrative performance and success of the project. Expected to successfully manage all aspects of the project budget. Expected to understand and manage all subcontractor deliverables. Team player and leader expected to communicate and work closely with UAG staff to meet and deliver client needs and expectations. Direct report to the Project Executive/Senior Project Manager.
