Jack is the Director of Preconstruction at UAG and leads preconstruction and estimating processes required to bring projects from conceptual design to construction documents, budget establishments, and GMP. Jack oversees a team of highly skilled individuals to analyze specific metrics, value engineering, system selection, and constructability. With a background in estimating and business, Jack understands the financial implications of each project and strives to offer creative solutions that achieve desired results and cost certainty for his clients.
Prior to joining UAG as one of the atelier’s first five employees, Jack was employed at Hunter Roberts Construction Group. He feels fortunate to have leveraged the tools, techniques, and connections gained previously in the industry while establishing and growing UAG’s culture and distinction throughout the years.
Jack received his Bachelor in Business Administration from James Madison University, has taken Civil Engineering courses at the City College of New York, and holds a HPD Healthy Homes certification. Jack has helped organize and install Community-Built Playgrounds with the Kaboom! Organization, and has worked with Transportation Alternatives, The Harlem Academy, and The Robinhood Foundation. In his spare time Jack enjoys exploring NYC via Citibike or motorcycle, woodworking, and cooking.
