Marc serves as Senior Director, Safety at UAG, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in construction safety to one of the firm’s most critical responsibilities. He oversees the development and implementation of safety protocols across all project sites, ensuring full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while setting a standard that goes beyond what regulation requires.
Marc leads UAG’s safety programs and policies firmwide, working closely with project teams to plan around schedule logistics, manage high-risk activities, and advance ongoing initiatives including training, onboarding, and technology integration. Central to his approach is fostering an Incident and Injury-Free (IIF) Safety Matters culture, one in which every team member takes personal ownership of safety, and every worker goes home safe at the end of the day.
Marc holds a Bachelor of Science in Safety Science with a minor in Management from Keene State College. His professional certifications include NYC DOB Site Safety Coordinator & Construction Superintendent, Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) from the IBFCSM, and FDNY Certificate of Fitness S-56 Construction Site Fire Safety Manager.
