Matthew Leibel serves as Vice President, Preconstruction at UAG, bringing nearly 20 years of construction management experience to the role. He has spearheaded some of the firm’s most ambitious projects, including Morgan North, a 1.3 million square foot commercial rehabilitation, and 20 & 30 Halletts Point, two residential rental towers totaling 800,000 square feet.
Matthew’s career spans nearly every facet of the industry, with roles in business development, estimating, project management, and field supervision. That breadth provides the ability to see a project from every perspective, anticipating challenges in the field while shaping strategy in the office. He leads by example, fostering a team environment grounded in creative problem-solving and delivering projects with exceptional cost and schedule certainty.
Prior to joining UAG, Matthew spent nearly a decade at Hunter Roberts Construction Group, where he managed numerous large-scale developments across the residential, academic, and cultural sectors.
Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Union College, a foundation that informs his analytical approach and strategic mindset in navigating complex construction projects.
