Tom Alaimo is the Vice President, Preconstruction, and oversees the Estimating, Purchasing, and Business Development departments at UAG. With over 15 years of experience, a background in urban planning and architecture, and vast experience in real estate and construction management, Tom’s unique expertise strengthens and broadens the firm’s in-house client services.
Before transitioning from a Project Executive to Vice President, Preconstruction, Tom led the successful completion of Ruby, a two-tower multifamily rental development in Chelsea, New York, and Powerhouse Arts, a rehabilitation and new construction art production facility in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Tom was previously employed at Redsky Capital and JDS Development and completed notable projects such as American Copper Buildings, Stella Tower, 613 Baltic St, and Cube Wynwood.
Tom attended the University of Buffalo, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Planning with an Architecture minor. Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, golf, and fitness.
