GLENMORE AVENUE SHELTER
The Glenmore Avenue Shelter is a purpose-built intake facility providing 200 beds for single women in East New York. The five-story, 61,000-square-foot building is fully ADA-compliant and offers dormitory-style accommodations with a mix of two- to five-person suites. Developed through a joint venture between Camber Property Group and Urban Atelier Group, the project was designed in collaboration with HELP USA to deliver state-of-the-art programming and administrative spaces tailored to the intensive needs of single women. With a focus on recovery and community reintegration, the shelter is also designed to meet Enterprise Green Communities’ energy performance and sustainability standards.
