MORGAN NORTH
Morgan North is the adaptive reuse of New York City’s largest postal distribution center, a 1933 full-block structure in Manhattan where USPS operations continue on the lower levels. UAG provided preconstruction and construction management services for the redevelopment, restoring the historic 9th Avenue lobby, creating two new lobbies, and converting floors 5–10 into new commercial floorplates with ceilings up to 17 feet and large skylights – all crowned by a two-acre rooftop park, the largest green roof on a commercial building in New York City. The LEED Gold–certified project earned a 2024 NYCxDESIGN Award for Best Outdoor Space.
