Chelsea Beacon
In partnership with Empire State Development, Chelsea Beacon transforms the former Bayview Correctional Facility into 124 affordable and supportive housing units for low-income individuals through adaptive reuse. The project preserves the historic Main and Annex buildings while introducing new courtyard construction to maximize residential capacity. The development also includes a 9,300 SF community facility dedicated to youth programs and 15 short-term transitional units for individuals with mental health needs
