Kaufman Astoria Studios is a 146,000-square-foot expansion of the historic Kaufman Astoria Studios campus in Astoria, Queens, featuring two state-of-the-art, 40-foot-tall clear-span sound stages, three levels of production support and office space, and a below-grade parking garage. Designed to maximize a constrained urban site, the vertically integrated facility stacks technically complex production functions above the sound stages while maintaining exceptional acoustic performance and operational efficiency. The project strengthens Kaufman Astoria Studios’ legacy as one of New York City’s premier film and television production campuses, expanding its capacity to support the growing demand for feature films, television, streaming, and commercial productions.
