OLYMPIA DUMBO
Olympia is a 28-story, 76-unit condominium in Dumbo, Brooklyn, where UAG successfully led the preconstruction and construction phases. The building’s maritime-inspired architecture reflects Dumbo’s industrial waterfront heritage, with a striking design resembling the sail of a ship. Its unique structure, with cascading, twisting forms, created varying floor plates that required innovative solutions during construction.
The building’s setbacks and terraces presented challenges with atypical slab edges and floor plates, necessitating extensive surveying, coordination, and enhanced safety measures. UAG meticulously addressed changes in concrete, window wall, and interior tolerances to ensure precise execution. The project also included the successful delivery of several amenities and community spaces across three floors—The Garden, The Bridge, and The Club—totaling 38,000 SF.
